About Dr. Michelle Myszko, ND
Helping You Find the Root Cause of Your Health Concerns
Hi, I'm Dr. Michelle Myszko, a Registered Naturopathic Doctor and the founder of Trillium Health Clinic in St. Thomas, Ontario.
For more than 12 years, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of patients move beyond simply managing symptoms and begin addressing the underlying causes of their health concerns. Whether someone is struggling with digestive issues, hormone imbalances, chronic fatigue, anxiety, skin conditions, or feeling like they've "tried everything," my goal is to provide answers, hope, and a personalized path forward.
I believe healing happens when we care for the whole person—not just the diagnosis. Every person has a unique story, and understanding that story is often the key to creating meaningful, lasting improvements in health.

My Journey into Naturopathic Medicine
I've always been fascinated by science and the incredible ability of the human body to heal.
I graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2007 with an Honours Bachelor of Science, specializing in Biology. My passion for health led me to work as a Health Consultant at Herbal One Weight Loss Centre, where I coached and educated people on nutrition, lifestyle, and herbal medicine. Watching people regain their confidence and improve their health inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor.
That experience confirmed what I had always believed: helping people improve their health could truly change their lives.
My Education and Clinical Training
In 2009, I began the four-year naturopathic medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), Canada's leading naturopathic medical school.
My education included extensive training in both conventional medical sciences and evidence-informed naturopathic medicine, including:
-
Anatomy and Physiology
-
Biochemistry
-
Immunology
-
Microbiology
-
Pathology
-
Clinical Diagnosis
-
Pharmacology
-
Emergency Medicine
-
Health Psychology
Alongside this medical education, I received comprehensive training in naturopathic therapies, including:
-
Clinical Nutrition
-
Botanical Medicine
-
Traditional Chinese Medicine
-
Acupuncture
-
Homeopathic Medicine
-
Physical Medicine
-
Lifestyle Counselling
-
Hydrotherapy
I completed more than 3,000 hours of classroom education, 1,200 hours of supervised clinical training, and a year-long internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic.
My clinical experience also included a four-month placement at the Anishnawbe Health Centre, where I worked with Indigenous communities, and a volunteer medical externship in Guatemala with Naturopaths for Global Health.
My Philosophy: Healing the Whole Person
Over the years, I've learned that lasting healing often requires looking beyond lab results and symptoms alone.
Many people come to me after being told that everything is "normal," despite continuing to struggle with fatigue, digestive issues, anxiety, hormonal concerns, or chronic inflammation.
While nutrition, lifestyle, and supplements are important, I have also seen how chronic stress, unresolved emotions, grief, trauma, and nervous system dysregulation can profoundly influence physical health.
My approach is to understand every aspect of your health—physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors—so we can identify the obstacles preventing your body from healing.
A Personalized Approach to Healing
No two people are alike, which is why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment plans.
Every recommendation I make is based on your unique health history, symptoms, goals, laboratory findings, lifestyle, and readiness for change.
Depending on your individual needs, your treatment plan may include:
-
Clinical nutrition
-
Herbal medicine
-
Nutritional supplementation
-
Acupuncture
-
Lifestyle counselling
-
Functional and laboratory testing
-
Stress management strategies
-
Nervous system support
-
Emotional wellness techniques
My goal is always to create a plan that is realistic, sustainable, and designed to help you feel your best.
Integrating Mind, Body, and Spirit
Throughout my career, I've continued to expand my education beyond traditional naturopathic medicine.
I have studied and trained in a variety of complementary healing approaches, including Reiki, Shamanic healing, BioEnergetics, meditation, dream analysis, mindfulness, quantum healing, inner child work, ancestral healing, and other mind-body-spirit modalities.
When appropriate—and always based on your comfort level and preferences—I may integrate these approaches into your care to support emotional wellbeing, nervous system regulation, and personal growth alongside your physical health.
I believe healing is most powerful when we support the whole person.
My Commitment to You
My role isn't simply to recommend supplements or create a treatment plan.
I'm here to educate, guide, encourage, and support you throughout your healing journey.
I'll celebrate your successes, help you overcome obstacles, and continually adjust your treatment plan as your health evolves.
Healing isn't always a straight line, but you don't have to navigate it alone.
Together, we'll work toward helping you feel healthier, more energized, and more connected to yourself—so you can live the life you truly want.
I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey toward better health.
